About Me
I'm a sixth-year PhD student in the Department of Statistics at the University of
Washington. My research interests include statistical methods for the analysis of microbiome data and phylogenetic trees. I am advised by
Amy Willis. I am excited about developing statistical software to assist practitioners of
molecular microbial ecology and genomics to analyze their data. I enjoy teaching statistics at all levels.
I have also done work with Tyler McCormick
on methods to model wage heterogeneity.
I received my undergraduate degree in Statistics from Amherst College in 2018.
